List: Relative to Don Ross' comment about my server's unacceptd notes; although this list is not a Yahoo! Group, they have given me endless trouble and have now virtually cut me out due mainly to my 'heavy mailbox'. All of my Yahoo! Groups are at this email address so, I am at a loss to know why Lists.Dementia would not complete notes or any other attachments. I am running general email 'letters' via another email address, which greatly reduces the load on this address. However, due to my printer being down (I must fix or replace it) there are loads of photos, as attachments, that I wish to print. A heavy financial problem has now been resolved so, the funds for many things that have been shelved, can now progress. As for MSN's WEBTV, all was well until Yahoo, in all its brillance, decided to protect us individuals from interlopers by setting up endless methods of questions and answers to prove who we are. This is childs play as it is faraway and beyond simpler froms of verification. All of this ninsense has cost me endless hours of looking for the reasoning as to why one must 'rejoin' each and every group that we have subscribed to in the past. Most of mine are former Egroups, that Yahoo has taken over if, even that, is the correct interpretation of what has gone down! The person who has notified me, identified himsellf as the Administrator .... of what and for who ... I asked? No response from ... aparently ... Yahoo. Of note is that the owner of the Midwest Interurban list, Jack Grant, has shut down his WEBTV and gone into a computer, citing that he just could no longer keep up with Yahoo's changes, not a quote. Frankly, I prefer my 'webber' to a computer as I use it mostly for messaging. I really do not want to buy into a computer program as it is costly over a period of time with all sorts of charges for individual improvements. Simply said, by re-joining Yahoo! Groups on their terms, created a wrinkle. That of downloading Photos. No way could I do that. After many days and weeks of posting messages to Yahoo, MSN and WEBTV, I was nowhere, with no answer. You see .... Yahoo does not explain what they're doing. You must find out for yourself. Finally, someone from Yahoo sent a message that I needed JavaScript to download Photos. I reminded him that I could not do that as I am not operating a computer. MSN/WEBTV would have to subscribe to that and pass it along. I told that to Yahoo but, they have ignored me, entirely. And now they're shoving me out, part and parcel. The latest inquiries to pull up a Yahoo! Group has ended with the 'can you read this' inscription and it's not there, the submit button no longer works, either. I am incomunicodoe!
