Jim,

I really didn't answer your question. The collection is the entire inventory
of Traction News from 1930 into the 60s. Every US system, and many 
foreign ones are covered, along with good photos, and some maps. The
newsletters were sent out monthly, and were printed with very high quality
on glossy stock. 

I originally got the collection when I made arrangements to spend a few
days at OB on my vacation in 1970. OB was one of those big, old Midwest
factories that didn't have air conditioning. The headquarters was three 
stories high, and on the third floor (the size of a football field) was a 
storage
area that had everything from glass plate negatives of the 1890s to five or
ten copies of every Traction News that had ever been published. I was able
to take away what I believe was a full archive.
