Greetings!

	This photo http://davesrailpix.railfan.net/pitts/htm/rhp039.htm is
really spectacular from m-a-n-y different angles!

1)--It shows the *other--end* of the South Hills barn that is usually
obscured by equipment sitting in the yard.
2)--The 16-interurban still looks very good with dash lights and the
hour-glass front end!
3)--Hints of the wye at this location are evident. One leg of the wye
starts behind the rear of the 16 on track 6 in the photo and moves to
the left.

After finishing a run, the motorman would park the cars on one of the
6-yard tracks heading south. But many had to be turned for to head
north out of the yard. This wye could be used for completely turning
the cars or they could loop the building thru this leg of the wye and
head to the ladder track and be backed into one of the 6 yard tracks to
head out north. A number of other variations for turning the cars could
be used.
