> Many thanks for the list, John! It answered a lot of my questions. My
> one remaining question is what happened to the remaining PCC's after
> their abandonment in September of '98 (okay, y'all have mentioned that
> 4007 is stalking its victim's widow in Bethel Park)?

1999. I believe one was to go to the South Hills Village area on static
display. That way all the young punks in the neighborhood can break out the
windows and say, "We're real men now, hey Beavis? No chicks will want to
score with us, heh-heh-heh-heh-heh-heh."

I thought PTM was going to get one and then there's the Bethel Park Stalker
you mentioned. I saw one without its number in the yard during the fantrip.
I heard a rumor it was going to a private owner. As for the fifth one, I'm
not sure.

> Jones high floor car #4145 is at Trolleyville in North Olmstead, Ohio.
> Is that the only other non-PCC car outside of the PTM?

I think there are some work cars scattered around, like the sweeper in Ohio
that was torched. What is it about old transit vehicles that makes jerks
want to break the windows and/or torch them?

> Oh, also, is 1765 still around?

No. I can say that with confidence, unless you count scattered molecules.
The front end is in Ray Lattner's den. I know this for a fact. I had dinner
with the Lattners and let me tell you, they really know how to make a
stranger feel at home. Great people, like all the other PTM members I have
met. :-) And don't let Scott Davis fool anyone. He may be known as
"Grumpy", but he's also a great person.
