Thanks for all the pix Ken!  I was just up there last weekend. Met
a few of my high school buddies at an Irish pub that used to be
part of Walker Pontiac. My how things have changed in that area.
Looks really nice though but still not the same minus the streetcars.
I went to Mellon Jr. High which was a block or two away from 
Clearview Loop. I will always remember hearing the sound of the
PCC cars traversing the loop as I sat in class in jr. high.
  As kids, we would walk from my neighborhood(right near the Dormont
border), cut through Mt. Lebanon Cemetary, and go get our sodas at
Isaly's in Mt. Lebanon. Then we'd go to the bakery(still there) and
sit and eat our cookies and drink our "pop" while watching the trolleys at the loop. Got in trouble once for putting pennies on
the tracks. Motorman asked us not to do it anymore but he took us
for a free roundtrip ride downtown and back. Nice man he was.
I still have a few of those flattened pennies. Thanks for the
memories Ken!  :>)
