  Thanks to Dave Hamley's 6-part series in TROLLEY FARE, I know that
the front end shot of the rt. 68 signed car is 1714. The front and
rear caps of this car were used to make the molds for the 4000 series
cars.
  If any of you ever has a chance to go by Ray Lattner's home you'll
be pleasantly surprised to find the front end of 1765 inside a
room addition on his house. He has restored it to it's original
paint and most everything still works, including the wipers.
Truly phenominal!
