The really cheap places are Motel 6 in Washington PA (724-723-8040) and Red Roof Inn on at 1399 West Chestnut Street. The is also an Econ Lodge and a Days Inn out in the west end, which rounds out the cheap places. The Hilton Gardens at Southpointe exit off route 79 is quite nice ... I stay there when my wife is along but I shun it when I'm just come out alone to work. I understand that the Holiday Inn on Race Track Road has just been redone. There is a cheap place up near the sewage treatment works north of Canonsburg and south of the old Morganza stop on the car line ... name escapes me ... O. R.
