<div dir="ltr">The current PTM PRCo track map, while OK for "general" viewing of the system, leaves much to be desired when it comes to track detail and car-house track layouts. Something similar to the Toronto map I posted here is needed. The TTC map shows all switches, exact location of the track in the streets and on right of way, has all loops shown, and gives a schematic of all car-houses. I was hoping that "Transit In The Triangle" might have filled the gap concerning track maps, however, it only had the "straight line drawing" type of maps which have no detail.<br>

I prefer the printed page over a computer screen as print allows much<br>
more detail for given area. Zooming on the computer isolates a very<br>
small area for detail making it difficult to see how it fits the whole<br>
without constant zooming back and forth. This is not a problem<br>
with the printed page is it.<br>

A friend has a large format printer; I shall ask him to print the Toronto<br>
map for study.<br>

Unfortunately, there are many worthy publication projects that PTM might do,<br>
but there are also too few people with too little time available to do them<br>
or even supervise them. I agree that the track map is one of them.<br>

I used to be able to volunteer 1900+ hours annually to the museum, for<br>
example, but last year it was down to 300+ hours. Times and situations<br>
change.<br>
