<div dir="ltr">Things have really not improved much since this morning. Saw Mill Run Blvd remains closed between Bausman St and Library Road, as is Banksville Road and even Washington Road in Mt. Lebanon.. While water levels have gone down a new line of storms are just now coming into Allegheny County with heavy rain and strong winds. Port Authority issued the following news release:<br>
<br><span id="dnn_ctr901_ContentPane"><span class="">Wednesday Afternoon Service Update</span><br><span class=""><p style="margin:0in 0in 12pt">A
portion of Port Authority’s Library Line will remain closed through
this evening’s rush hour – and likely into tomorrow morning’s commute –
due to debris and flooding on the tracks.</p>
<p style="margin:0in 0in 12pt">Blue Line-Library light rail service is
operating between the North Shore/Downtown and Lytle Station. Riders
traveling south of Lytle must transfer to shuttle buses that will take
them to the line’s remaining stops. </p>
<p style="margin:0in 0in 12pt">Red Line and Blue Line-South Hills Village light rail service are operating on regular route.<br>
<br>
The Library park and ride lot experienced flooding today and Port
Authority Police officers will be there this afternoon to assist vehicle
owners. Additionally, we were informed this afternoon by police that
access to the Large Park and Ride lot has been cut off due to flooding
on local roads.<br>

Service status is subject to change if further storms occur and delays are possible systemwide on buses and rail.<br>

Updated 4:30 p.m. END OF NEWS RELEASE</p><p style="margin:0in 0in 12pt">I have been wanting to get to the Giant Eagle at Brentwood Town Center all day but have not gone out since the traffic on Brownsville Road is, as it has been all day, bumper to bumper and nearly standing still. Maybe after nightfall I'll be able to get to Giant Eagle.</p>
<p style="margin:0in 0in 12pt">I'm glad I'm on Brownsville Road which runs along, and at the top, of a ridge for its' entire length.<br clear="all"></p><p style="margin:0in 0in 12pt"><br></p></span></span><div>
