then (in the 50's) I don't think that the Browns considered the Steelers to be a
big threat. Plus, in the B&W TV and newspaper era the NFL was
not the highly promoted machine that it is today. I remember a co-worker
back then who watched his first Steelers game on color TV, and was surprised to
see that the team wore black and gold uniforms. <BR><BR>-----

"Steeler' train names referred to the steel industries in Pittsburgh and

railfans who said that the PRR never had a station in downtown
Cleveland....until I showed them my 1958 photo and scans of PRR timetables from
