<DIV><FONT size=4>Here is a real Peter Witt car, however, on 25 August 1953, no
longer being used in Peter Witt fare collection mode, but rather one man, front
entrance. This at Public Square a few months before the last line,
Madison, Crumped.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=4>And forget those old center door clunkers beloved only by
Clevelanders (Sorry Dennis and JWV!). Here is the real deal of a gem on
SHRT, same day as above, 304 at Shaker Square. Yes, I rode it out from
Terminal Tower. Sorry it is not a very good photo compositionwise, but it
sure brings back memories. For those who may not know, these 1923-built
St. Louis cars were second hand from the Aurora, Fox River and Elgin interurban
in Illinois, a portion of which is still in use as the Fox River Trolley
Museum. This very car was saved and lived for years at Brookins, but is
now back home at South Elgin.</FONT></DIV>

back on track, I am attaching three photos that I took on the SHR T in the
mid-60's: <BR><BR><BR><BR>- PCC 94 at Shaker Square on 9/15/66 (94 is now at
PTM). <BR><BR><BR><BR>- PCC 95 at Shaker Square leading an outbound 3-car
train onto the Van Aiken line on 9/15/66. <BR><BR><BR><BR>- Body of a
double-end trolley that may have been used as an office/storage facility.
Taken at Van Aiken loop on 8/15/64. Note the person in the fourth
window from the right who appears to be writing at a desk. Does
anyone kn ow the number/history of this car?
