<P>Also a photo taken at the New Castle Jct. stop by Pete Roehm who was active in PERC at that time. In 1957 the B&O was still operating steam locomotives on the Akron Div. west.of New Castle Jct. A couple of other steam locomotives can be seen in right background of the photo.<BR><BR></P>

The railway portion was in disuse in latter years of the bridge’s existence, but back in 1957 the forerunner of PTM, PERC, ran an enthusiast tour over the former P&W, then B&O line.
