<DIV><BR></DIV>........................75 feet from the service elevator, in the basement<BR>of the Akron Public Library, to the Film Services Department to check if Mr<BR>Ronald Sharp (the manager of Film Services) had any outgoing mail. Mr.<BR>Sharp always had his office radio on and his only word to me were, "he was<BR>shot in Dallas". I said, "What, what did you say?" Mr. Sharp said, "Kennedy<BR>was shot dead." That's where I was and how I learned the news. This was<BR>nothing compared with the rest of that day and the days, months, years and<BR>decades to follow as the politics, social agenda, war & peace, and history<BR>in general of the United States took a different path and changed forever.<BR>
