<div dir="ltr"><div>Also, several weeks ago there was some interest in "boat traffic" on the three rivers here. The front cover of the 2014 calendar has a good painting, by Mary Lois Verilla of course, of a tow boat and barges on the Mon River. It is attached for your edification and enjoyment.<br>
<br></div>Also, so as not to slight them, the 2014 calendar is a cooperative venture between the boroughs of Brentwood and Whitehall. I forgot to mention Whitehall. Of course, I have yet to actually find the Borough of Whitehall. I'm sure it's somewhere around here. I usually go toward the city and not the suburbs in my travels. The suburbs tend to be very dull and traffic ridden.<br>

Pittsburgh (Carrick district) occupies the West side of Brownsville and the<br>

looks like Carson Street in South Side Flats, Liberty Avenue in Bloomfield,<br>
Butler Street in Lawrenceville, or Murray Avenue in Squirrel Hill. So, I<br>
just say I live in Carrick since it looks like any other combination<br>
business/residential neighborhood in Pittsburgh anyway. If "push came to<br>
shove" I would definitely vote to have the strip along Brownsville between<br>
Sankey Avenue and Brentwood Loop annexed to the city of Pittsburgh.<br>

Then, of course, South of Brentwood Loop, the Borough of Brentwood occupies<br>
both sides of Brownsville Road. They have front yards from there South !! A<br>
"front yard" is something I can definitely do without also. I do my voting<br>
in Brentwood and have the Police, Fire, and EMS services of Brentwood.<br>
Otherwise it looks and feels just like the other side of the street which<br>
is in Pittsburgh. Comprende` ?<br>
