<DIV aria-label="Compose body">I photographed the last day of trolleys at Keating on 9/4/65, and by late that afternoon the car barn had been cleaned out, and the trolleys still running on routes 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15 and 21 would terminate that night at Tunnel Car House. </DIV>

<DIV aria-label="Compose body">There was a comment that a PCC remained at Keating after 9/4/65, but I never remembered seeing a trolley in the barn there after around 4PM that day. Then today I found a note that Harold Buckley sent me on 9/18/65 saying that a friend from the Washington D.C. area had chartered 1699 on Sept. 4, but at an unidentified time that day it developed an electrical fire and was left at Keating where it was "written off". He didn't say if 1699 was scrapped at Keating or taken to another rail location later.</DIV></div>
