The Reading 4-8-4 puled the train in the East, and the SP Daylight 4-8-4 was used in the West.<BR></DIV>

That would have been a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in September 1948. I have vague memories of standing in that line. It would have been the opening weeks of 3rd grade at Universal elementary school in Penn Township but I have no memories of escaping from classes. Funny that I have no memories of 1st, 2nd or 3rd grades but all sorts of memories beginning in 4th grade after we moved.
