I've been a passenger on the Empire Builder three times from Pittsburgh to<br>
Sparta, WI (Fort McCoy) and return. That was when I worked for the Dept of<br>
the Army on Leech Farm Road. The civilian administrative training center<br>
was at Fort McCoy, WI. Under the JTR civilian employees who were required<br>
to travel had the choice of flying coach or taking Amtrak first class. It<br>
didn't take much thinking for me to select Amtrak. It is an excellent train<br>
and has excellent service, especially in First Class.<br>
