I remember air raid blackouts during WWII, Mr. Oklata our street's Air Raid Warden coming around to confirm that our blackout curtains were closed and lights were turned off, and having only the dial light on our radio turned on during a blackout. Also attached is a photo of that 1940 Majestic radio which I still have - and it still works. Note the call letters of Pittsburgh radio stations above the pre-set push buttons. </DIV></div>
