the loop. I remember when I rode Washington near the end the wye was in
use. Don't recall the date, although it was summer 1953. There also
was a PERC trip near the end, using Brownie's favorite interurban--1614--but I
don't recall a stop at the wye or at Ruthfred. May have been, I just
don't recall.</FONT></DIV>

30, 1953. <BR><BR>Drake Loop opened April 20, 1953. Another
source claims Sept. 25, 1953. Both came from Ed
Lybarger. It would seem that the first was a typographical error
and it should have read Drake Wye opened April 20, 1953.<BR><BR><BR><BR>On Sep
