<p class="MsoNormal">Apparently, after the carlines stopped running across the Glenwood Bridge, some vandals decided to tear it up some. Not sure if it was directly related to the carlines being abandoned - I doubt that- but it occurred in July 1964. Last
55 Homestead-East Pittsburgh car ran in early July 1964. Check out the pictures of the approach to the bridge from the Hays side, a pic of where the vandals decided to break up the bridge, and fixing the bridge to continue in service until 1968.
