Probably so in Milwaukee, unless somebody got to ride one of the drag moves to the gravel pit in early '52.

That's fascinating. I'm guessing that that was the last move of an 1100 with passengers, albeit unofficially?

Was the photo taken after all and sundry 'abandoned ship'? I'd love to have seen the look on the face of the bloke who found it!

The 1100s are still my all-time favourite interurban. I'm working on an improved version for simulation use. I've learnt alot about 3D model building since the first one I did.
