Ken: That's an interesting photo of an 1100 at the site of the Muskego
Washout, better known as the Devil's Tea Pot.

Somewhere, I have an article which contains many of the details along
with some photographs, the exception being that this is the first time
that I have seen the photo which you posted.

While the car is indistinguishable on my 'webber', I would really
appreciate a photographic copy of it. Reason being that the
information that I have says something about a car isolated between the
washout and East Troy. So, that car would back up in one direction or
the other to accomodate passengers who, for the duration of the
impediment, had to walk around it, to complete a journey in either
direction. The outbound car from Milwaukee would reverse direction of
the car at the Muskego wye.

For the record, all Rapid Transit 1100's were single ended with the
exception of the 1102, 1103 and 1104, which had controls at both ends,
walkover seats and air operated passenger doors.

Anyway, I shall look up and copy the article, which also contains the
date of the incident. Will then forward same on to you.

Rebuilt MN cars were not ready for service until sometime in 1931.
