Scott G:  The location of which you speak; is at the street level front
gate?  I haven't been over there in ages but, will take a look the next
time that I am over that way. 

Perhaps someone who lives or travels in that area, may get there before
I do!          

Track reconstruction from the late '30's on, was done mostly with
heavier rail set in concrete.  It appears that the idea was to never
again find it necessary to do track maintenance or rebuilding.
