There was recent discussion concerning the Hales Corners station. If I =
recall correctly, Don mentioned the West Junction waiting room was =
similar or the same as the waiting room at Hales Corners.

Attached is a photo of the West Junction waiting room for those who are =
interested.

I received some additional pictures from Larry Allan from the Northwest =
Side of Milwaukee. The Red Owl-turned-drug store which still shows in =
Google satellite photography has been torn down and replaced with a =
McDonalds.

It also appears insulator technology for power lines is improving, as =
many of the old transmission line poles which used to use "multipart" or =
"post" style insulators are being replaced with new poles using =
insulators which are about the same size as the smaller "pin type" =
insulators used by power lines of lesser voltage.=20

The transmission line along the west side of Atkinson Avenue between =
Northside Station and Capitol Drive, however, is getting new poles with =
a newer style of "post" style insulators.
