Don R and list:   You made brief refernce on your TMER&L pages, as to
the entrance of second hand, double trucked cars from Massachusetts.   


As they had Brill 77-E 1 trucks, the refurbishing of the cars for
service in Racine, included exchanging the Brill trucks with TMER&L's
M-35-AB arch bar trucks.  The Brill trucks were then refitted to
TMER&L's cars 925-930.  As a youngster, I once saw a car on Wisconsin
Avenue with said Brill 77 E 1 trucks.  We may then conclude that the
arch bar trucks were returned to the Milwaukee cars after Racine
streetcar service ended in 1940.                                                    

Car 39 was scrapped on December 28, 1939,  The balance, cars 35 - 38 and
40, were scrapped on November 4, 1941.
