I have received the first three boxes, which were mostly European, Canadian, Wisconsin, Illinios and trackless trolley subjects. I should be receiving the remaining boxes, including Pennsylvania images, after January 23rd. I am making arrangements for donating the collection to appropriate organizations, where the slides will be protected. The Weyrich family has given me permission to divide the collection among organizations which will best preserve and present the images. So far, candidates include IRM, PTM, WRM and at least one tramway trust in England. K. It's a duplicate slide with no information on its frame. Very moody. I can feel the humidity and smell the air by just looking at it. The automobile to the right was already pretty old by the time the 1100s received the yellow and green stripe paint. With the quarry, WE substation and former Milwaukee Road tracks in the immediate area, that particular location of the right of way is still rather desolate, even though it is surrounded by development.
