Thanks for the information, Don.

I'm trying to recall something now...his name is significant in my mind regarding Speedrail, but I can't recall why.  Was Lew a survivor of the Labor Day wreck?  Or was he the one who came back from Korea on emergency leave in a vain attempt to save streetcar 607 from being scrapped?

Scott.

Scott:   Lew Martin passed away, not too many months ago.  I have his
death notice somewhere around here.  Will pass the information on to you
when I run across it. April, comes to mind.

His wife Delores, did not want overflow crowds at his funeral so, only
Chuck Westerman and I were personally notified of the Funeral service,
proper.  I would hazard a guess that only some 30 persons attended Lew's
funeral service at a Church on Forest Home Avenue nearby Edgerton, Hales
Corners.

A very small reception followed at the Restaurant on Broad Street, in
Greendale.
