Ken: Wonderful Photos.... Based upon the process of elimination, the
first photo is of car 1119, loading at HC Station. The second photo is
of articulated train 1182-83, arriving at the HC Station.
The letterboard and window spacing of the single car in Pullman Green
paint, are the clues in the first photo.
The Speed Striped Duplex is idenfifed by the green stripes ending at the
front corner posts. This is representative of the second style of
painting as appearing on cars 1121, 1144 and 1182-83.
On the balance of the updated repainting, the stripes were brought
forward on the car ends which curved downward on the end panels. Those
were cars 1111, 1112, 1115, 1116, 1117, 1118, 1123, 1124, 1138, 1141,
1142, 1143, 1190-91 and 1192-93 and 1198-99. Location of the brass
horns on trains 1190-91 and 1192-93, will identify the above numbered
trains, individually.
Collectivey, add the following numbers to complete a repainting roster:
1120 (the first car repainted in the oft refered to as the Spitball
scheme), then cars with stripes ending at the corner posts were; 1121,
1144 and 1182-83.
That completes the repaint roster.
