Was riding down to Hillcrest loop allowed in pre-Speedrail days as well?
My impression was that riding south of Hales Corners station in the TM/Transport Co. era was "Absolutlig Verboten!".

Bill Sell and list:    TMER&L Interurban Rapid Transit Cars, did not
have doors nor stops on the left side of the cars and duplex trains.

At HC, all passengers disemvbarked on the right rear foor and step.
There was enough room for pasengers to alight there and walk around the
back end of the car.

Virtually all passengers got off there but, I recall one woman who rode
out to the Hillcrest loop, as she lived in that area.
