Hi Everyone,

I just signed onto this list for one importatnt reason.......I am preparing
abook about the Jewett Car Co. of Newark, Ohio (where I live) and am
searching for information about horsecars they may have supplied to
Pittsburgh. At least two others have written that Jewett's first product
was an order of horsecars for Pittsburgh but I have been unable to confirm
that. It seems unlikely since the firm didn't start in business until 1893.
However, I am interested in hearing  from the experts on the Pittsburgh
system.

Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I recently visited Station Square.....can anyone verify that the
little BRT car is a Jewett?
