This is an extremely bulky device to carry around, and very clunky to use in
photographing moving objects! I use mine exclusively in the darkroom, (with
an enlarging lens attached -- a trick I learned from Fred Schneider -- as my
copy camera for B&W prints. Exposure is controlled by putting the lights on
the timer (Pro Copy film is exposed in multiples of seconds rather than
fractions of seconds).

This is off topic, but I just inherited a Crown Graflex 4 X 5 large
format camera. Is this thing good for traction photography? If so, I
would like to hear from some of you who know the best application for
this beast. Please e-mail me privately to share your experiences with
this type of camera. Ken J.
