Speed--Tunnel; Derail Operation

I remember one outbound trip through the tunnel on a 42/38. We passed an
inbound 1700. The motorman had his head buried in a newspaper and did
not respond to our motorman's gong. There was a moderate load of
passengers in the inbound car. Ken J.
