I haven't visited the Fenelon website since last Fall. It's kind of
folksy, but informative. Last Fall they had a page on a maintenance
session at their incline, and it sounded like an old fashioned barn
raising.
I'm also aware of Michel Azema's incline website "Funimag"; he's in
France. I sent him one of my Pittsburgh incline photos, but it hasn't
been posted yet. In the summer of 1960 I happened to be driving on
Carson Street just after one of the Ft. Duquesne Incline cars jumped the
track about 300 ft. from the lower station. The car was tilted at a 30
degree angle, and I got a photo of the firemen climbing up the track to
rescue the riders.
