	In the early 1960s, PRCo moved the trolley catcher below and to the 
right of the windows on the 1700 class city cars.  And as retrievers failed 
on the interurbans, they were replaced with catchers as well.  1709 or 1721 
were one of the last, if not the last, of the PCC interurbans to sport a 
retriever.
	They didn't do this for the 16s and other air cars because the whole 
rear of the car is at an 11 degree angle which would require a bracket to 
mount the catcher vertically.  On the 1700 series cars, the back below the 
windows is perfectly vertical.
