PRCo 1700 series cars.

Greetings,

	Some of the early color slides and photos of the 17s from 1949-1953 show the roof monitor 
alone, not the whole roof, painted gray.  Can this be verified?  I am wondering if it is poor 
print quality or an illusion on my part.
