Greetings!

N-O -- that's not me - I have not been holding anything back. If I had
wandered that far from home in 1950, I would have been in d-e-e-p trouble;
besides, I couldn't have gone that far at my age.
This past weekend I was surfing *railroad* sites and one listed sources
of photos. One of the sources I knew of personally and also knew this source had
trolleys. So I wrote to a couple others and low and behold, Bob Rathke also grew
up in Pgh. (his experience quoted above) and is a current and long time member of
PTM!
I never asked Bob anything about 12 Evergreen - he just offered it. This
is one of those situations which is like that sweet young thing called *Sarah
Dippity!*
So now we know that in 1929, 12 Evergreen operated as a shuttle from East
and Evergreen to the outer end and back with one solitary car all day long. We
now know that 12 Evergreen operated as a double-end route through to downtown and
back in 1950!
Bob has been invited to join the lists as well; hope he is able to do so.
And Charlie Brown says::
> Just wanted to let you know that I received the tape, maps, roster,
> photo, and kitchen sink (geez, who needs a book).
He says he will probably have 101 questions so I said - why not put them
on the list? A good way to learn and a good way for the old geezers to use the
gray matter besides sitting on it!
