Brill Coaches

I have a few B&W photos from the 50's that show the Brill buses in views
that are mainly of trolleys.

The Brills were used on the City View shuttle which ran from near my home
on Spring Hill, through City View, and over the East St. Bridge to
Charles St. where they connected with the 8-Perrysville trolley line.
The City View shuttle was discontinued at - or around - the time when
the Spring Hill bus line was extended from its loop out to Northview
Heights, although this point was about a half-mile short of the
8-Perrysville connection. I believe this happened near the end of the
PRC era.

I remember riding the Brill buses on the Spring Hill bus line on weekends
between 1957-60. I also remember them being small, noisy and with a
floor-shift transmission.
