No problem if it's used, but please acknowledge "Miller Library,
Pennsylvania Trolley Museum" as the source.

Greetings!

	South Hills Junction and yard.

	BOB:

I have scanned the 1927 and 1950 maps as line art with the following
names and file sizes:

	1-- SHJ1927A - 423,561 Bytes
	2-- SHJ1927B - 793,124 Bytes
	3-- SHJ1950 - 1,278,810 Bytes

I wanted to let you know this and I am asking if I could send them to
you thru the e-mail - didn't want to bog your mailbox down? I am going
to send it to Don, anyhow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got the map from Ed Lybarger about two years ago; Ed apologized for
the noisy copy as the copy machine at the museum needs replaced (I did
NOT clean up the scan!) So if you want to use it on the web site,
please ask Ed first. (You might be able to find a copy of this geodetic
map [or whatever it is called] in the library.)

But there are some MAJOR discrepancies on the map.
	The 1950 map does show:
1-- The loop around the admin building
2-- Palm Garden loop and extreme lower yard.

The 1950 map does correctly exclude:
		1-- The track on Warrington
2-- Lead from yard to Warrington for 38-39.
3-- Cutback loop to eastbound track on Warrington.

	Mistakes on the 1950 map:
1-- East side yard is totally missing.
2-- Strange 40 line stub is still connected to
main line which photos clearly contradict.
3-- The track behind the admin building
			connects to the inbound 42;
			should be outbound 42.
(Now I wonder if it e-v-e-r
			connected to the inbound 42!!!)
4-- Follow the 38-39-42 inbound track southbound
from the 40 line jct and it is the same
stub track as on the 1927 map. I do not
believe that part is correct on the 1927
			map, either!
