I don't have copy handy of ERA 1949 map, but ERA map dtd 4 March 1945 with 
annotation "trackage as of Dec. 1944" has crossover on W. Main/Bell at 
Woodkirk.  If correct, then 28 shuttle ran through the Carniege business 
district.  Since PRC was in business to make money, this makes sense, and 
would confirm Bill Vigrass recollection that:

Further, map shows double track on Third St. west of Chartiers Creek to West 
Main for 28-line.  Reversing on Third would be a safety hazard.

As for 29, map shows single track wye connection to 30/31 at Steuben/Noble.  
Where was Crafton/Ingram business district, if such existed?
