Since you brought up the Great Circle Trip....

You used the Pennsy to connect from Brownsville to Roscoe, but took a cab
(and grumbled of the price) from Trafford to Irwin. Was there no
convenient train service (if you remember the whys at this point, since,
well, that was a while ago)
