PRC 100/M11

I've got a photo of M11 to upload to the Fallen Flags website, and want
to include a brief caption with it.  I know that 100 was delivered in
July, 1936, was the first PCC in Pittsburgh, and was converted to
Instruction Car M11 in 1950.  Some questions:

When was M11 taken out of service, and when was it disposed of?

I've been reading the mail about the city location of  "the first PCC",
but I don't seem to have the final, definitive word on this question. 
What can we say about the 100 being the "first..." (other than it being
the first PCC in Pittsburgh)?
