Okay, Jimbo. ;-) The dash light mounted closest to the front door (the
curb side) was painted cream (no glare) like the roof. The dash light
mounted closest to the motorman's seat (the devil strip side) is painted
red like the lower half of the car. The car is in the later Pittsburgh
Railways "half and half" scheme discussed earlier today. The red dash
light appears canted but the cream dash light is horizonal. I suspect
the original light on the curb side of the dash was knocked off or
destroyed. Rather than remove the other light and have all those holes
to fill, the boys in the shop may have grabbed a surplus light from a
"white face" or "vee front" car and mounted it to cover the original
light's holes. Ken J.
