Switch Iron

Greetings!

	A friend of mine works in the Central Control Room of a transit 
property with a rail system.  Here is an email from him last night:!

This evening, while I was working Channel 5 (where supervisors, sheriff
deputies, road mechanics, cleanup crews are on), one supervisor called
another and asked him if he had a switch iron in his van.  The other supe
responded, "What's a switch iron?"  the 1st supe told him it was to 
change track switches with.  The 2nd supe replied, "I thought it was to 
defend ourselves with."

	Each of them was 50% right!
