So it can happen. But I wonder if the same youths would have taken a bus
in the bicycle case. I could go off on a rant about mixing transit
projects with "social engineering" but I won't. But I will make this
notataion: IMO, as long as there is a belief that all new rail transit
projects must link the neighborhoods of the "haves" and the "have nots"
together, the NIMBYs will always have this argument to use. Ken J.
