One thing I hope to eventually contribute would be HO or O scale feeder
cable brackets for model line poles. I obtained two pairs of the
Pittsburgh Railways style steel feeder cable brackets (cross arms) for
steel poles from Scott Davis last month. I have a friend in Alaska who
used to attend our church. He is a jeweler and could make molds based on
drawings of my brackets. Scott Davis also shared a copy of the three
foot wooden feeder cable cross arms Pittsburgh used (and still uses) on
wooden poles.
I don't know when I could get this started, since I am years behind on a
preserved trackless trolley roster for another friend's site and am
currently finding homes for the 50,000 plus photo collection of a
deceased traction fan, but who knows? I have a friend in Texas who is a
draftsman and architect. He could measure those brackets and whip up the
drawing during one of frequent trips to my town...
