Another Drake map

I have posted a second Drake line map at alt.binaries.pictures.rail
This is an extract from the USGS 7½-minute topographic sheet "Bridgeville",
showing the line from just north of Washington Jct to just beyond Drake
loop.
The sheet was published in 1953, and shows the Washington interurban line
still in place, marked "abandoned." "Drake Loop" is identified, though the
loop itself is not drawn, and the former viaduct at that point has been
erased.
The scale of the original is 1:24,000 (2000 feet = 1 mile); I have shown
the scale of one mile on the margin.
The scan was made from a b/w photocopy that Ed Lybarger of the Pennsylvania
Trolley Museum made for me a few months ago, from his own photocopy of the
original. I have made every effort to make the detail as clear as possible
onscreen while still keeping the file size manageable. The JPEG file itself
runs to 370K, the mail message on a.b.p.r is listed at 510K.
Your mail server may or may not still have available the earlier (modern)
map of the line that I posted two days ago. Anybody wanting either of these
maps and unable to access them on a.b.p.r, please get in touch with me.
I'm informed that the ABPR archive no longer updates daily. Bummer.
It's possible, however, that archived a.b.p.r posts may be accessible at
Remarq. Anybody know?
