	Sounds super - really look forward to this group.  Nothing unusual about a 
1700 being on Mt. Washington that I know of unless it was an interurban 17.  
Equipment was kept pretty much separate well into the 60s but I remember times in the 
50s, especially in heavy snows, when interurbans would be substituted for regular 
city cars on city routes because they were *heavier* - this according to the 
operators.  But the PCC books indicate that the interurbans were actually several 
hundred pounds lighter!  Maybe they tracked better!
	I do remember a 16 interurban on 42 DORMONT in the mid 50s, think it was the 
very tail end of the AM rush hour, and the car must have still had its old interurban 
line destination sign for all it displayed was PITTSBURGH.
