They did not deadhead like that in those days - running an hour and 30
minutes back to the barn! No way would they dead head like that! It is
clear from all PRCo schedules that even when the car pulled into the
yard (and SHJ would be listed as the last time point) that it was in
service that far.
Cars stayed over night at Tylerdale and Charleroi to begin morning
service down there. If they didn't do that, then they would be just as
well off running 24-hour service because if the cars had to pull into
SHJ then the last one in would be meeting the first one out in the
morning!
