Greetings!
PRCo used these wood strain insulators to insulate span wires from line
poles.
On curves it was quite common to connect the clevis end to the hanger
and use the eye end to string a backbone wire parallel to the trolley
wire in addition to running a span to a pole.
A common measuring distance is from the center of the clevis to the
center of the eye. What was the standard distance on PRCo? O-B lists
the following measurements (all in *inches*, of course!):::::::
