Mom's PRC recollections -- Last Car Ride

I hope this is not too far  off topic but my Mom has been visiting me for a
couple weeks and she has been telling a few Streetcar stories.  I'll share
them on separate messages over the next week or so. 

A Roberta Hill photo of the last car on route 40 Mt. Washington reminded Mom
that she rode on that car.  After seeing it pass a couple times the car with
all the raucous people stopped in front of the house she asked what they
were up to - "Just taking the last ride(s), come join us" - She remembers
sitting with another middle-aged lady and having a great time on that final
run.
